February 26 – Programming

This week turned out to be a busy week for many members of the group, as a result, the number of people attending was rather small.

Two members shared their program plans from Child and Youth Services class. Programs can be aimed at different groups based on demographics.

Next week there will be no meeting as there are TWO guest speakers coming.

On Wednesday, UWO’s Librarians Without Borders will be hosting (via Skype) Helaine Becker, a children’s author who works with Waters of Hope. This will be at 12pm in North Campus Building.

On Thursday we will be hosting Mary Fellowes, who is the former president of ALSC. She will talk with us about advocacy. Check out their advocacy website: http://www.ala.org/everyday-advocacy/about
